Analysis of an overall solution of a regional multifunctional chip card
The statutory city of České Budějovice was considering introducing a city multifunctional chip card; a medium which would make the provided services more comfortable for the citizens. The project was presented to the public under the name of “Metropolitan card”.
The aim of the study was to map out the possibilities of the metropolitan card utilization within the city of České Budějovice, in the fields such as transport, parking, PKI, sport, culture, etc, and also to set financial and time demands.
The study outcomes were presented to the City Council, which accepted the study and decided to go on in the “Metropolitan card” project implementation.
“The implemented study met our expectations and we are content with the cooperation with TELMAX Ltd. company.” says Ing. Ivana Popelková, 1st Deputy Mayor.
