From history
The driving simulator for driving schools has become a fixed part of basic training over time. The production of driving simulators has a very long tradition in the Czech Republic, which goes back to its roots in the 1970s, when the Automotive Repair Plant in Olomouc began producing the first simulators. In the 1980s, trainers were produced in large quantities and exported to many countries of the former Soviet Union, but also, for example, to the exotic country of Vietnam.
In the 1990s, the production and development was taken over by JKZ spol. s r.o., which produced them until 2021, when JKZ merged with TELMAX. Deliveries in recent times have been mainly to the Czech and Slovak markets.
